Afrojack Nominated for Second Grammy

Globe-trotting superstar DJ Afrojack is celebrating after The Recording Academy of America announced he was being nominated for his second Grammy Award. The nomination is in the“Best Remixer” category, for his work on Leona Lewis’ song ‘Collide, which was released last July and became a hit record around the world.

He was nominated for, and won, his first Grammy in the same category in February, for his and David Guetta’s remix of Madonna’s ‘Revolver.’ He has, in addition, seen his work on several high profile songs be recognized by The Recording Academy with further Grammy nominations, although he is not personally nominated for them.

The 54th annual Grammy Awards will be broadcast on CBS on February 12, 2012. Afrojack will attend the ceremony in Los Angeles.
